Myrtle

This week for Plant Tip Tuesday...

The Myrtle Plant carries deep meaning in several culture's mythology and religion. Across the board, it is considered a sacred symbol of love, beauty, desire, peace and commitment.

We currently have this classic tree in the form of a topiary! These plants grow best in a bright filtered light and benefit from regular fertilizing between March and October. Myrtle are a slightly higher maintenance plant, due to their watering needs. They like the soil to remain consistently moist while never saturated, and love having their foliage misted. This makes myrtle an excellent choice for someone who loves to baby their plants!

The best part? To maintain this cute round shape, you can give your myrtle a regular haircut during the growing season.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to add this plant to your collection
