Baby Blue Eucalyptus

This Week, on Plant Tip Tuesday...

Oh Baby we have a really great plant feature: It’s Baby Blue Eucalyptus! We don’t often get it in as a growing plant but when we do it’s very exciting!

They can be a little higher maintenance but here are some tips to keep yours thriving:

  • These plants have quite an extensive root system and would like to be in a container that gives it some growing room, but be sure that the pot is not too oversized.
  • Baby Blue hates soggy roots, so we recommend a container with a nice drainage hole and be sure to us a good quality, well-draining indoor plant soil.
  • They absolutely love being consistently moist without being saturated. Unfortunately, if they get too dehydrated, they may not recover from it.
  • Baby Blue Eucalyptus requires a bright filtered light location, avoiding hot direct sunlight.
  • They can be easily pinched back to develop a bushier plant.
They really are so adorable!
